Hunting in Tajikistan: wild boar, ibex and marco polo

Constant Boulard Adventures takes you hunting on several territories across the country.

1. In central Tajikistan, you can hunt wild boar, synonymous with huge trophies.
2. Further north, in equally steep terrain, you can hunt ibex. This area is reached on horseback, followed by hunting on foot.
3. In the middle of the majestic Pamirs, at an altitude of 4,500m, we'll take you on a hunt for Pamir ibex and imposing marco polo. A territory as beautiful as it is hostile. Splendid hunting in Tajikistan.  

• Flight Paris-Dushanbe (1 stopover in Istanbul). Our team will meet you there to take care of airport formalities before setting off for the hunting area.
• Carry weapons and ammunition suitable for hunting in the mountains (long-range shooting).

1. Your accommodation for wild boar hunting in Tajikistan is with local people. Long days walking in the mountains are tiring and whet the appetite. After a good dinner, you'll have no trouble falling asleep in your comfortable bed with a hot shower.
2. We hunt ibex on horseback, away from inhabited areas. In the heart of the glacier-covered mountains, you'll sleep in tents.  
3. Our base camp in the Pamirs, for hunting ibex and marco polo, is luxurious. It's almost unthinkable to have a building of this standing so high up in the mountains. The food is delicious; you can even watch marco polos from the lodge windows.

Hunting in Tajikistan requires good physical condition. Mountain hunting sometimes requires many hours ofapproach in the mountains. For wild boar and ibex, the altitude difference can be considerable. For marco-polo, the hunt is sporting, but without the need to climb steep slopes. Generally speaking, hunting in Tajikistan is accessible to all, provided you go at your own pace.
